Never in the history of American education has there been such an impetus for a deep, fundamental shift in the way students learn. Deeper, more meaningful and modern changes bring about deeper, more meaningful and modern learning. Conversely, you would not believe how old many aspects of education and schools are today. This free introductory Masterclass into the Modern Learning Collaborative support system will help educational leaders understand what are and what are not modern, relevant and engaging aspects of their institutional offerings. Leaders will be equipped and activated to reimagine their educational institution to facilitate the creation and implementation of relevant learning environments that prepare students for the realities of and success in the modern world. In this class, I engage with educational leaders by challenging leaders to push back on the educational status quo and help them to define and differentiate between their institutional traditions vs. what I call educational rituals.
